These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.hideas.co.nz (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Hide-as. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of it.

Products & Pricing

We make every effort to display our products and their colours, materials, and details accurately. Because leather is a natural material, slight variation in grain, tone, and texture between pieces is normal and not a defect. Prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities and refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or pricing error.

Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. Payment is processed securely at checkout; we do not store full payment card details on our servers.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product photography, and design — is the property of Hide-as or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

User Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Warranty

Hide-as products are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, under normal use. This warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, or unauthorised repairs, and is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Hide-as is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the product in question.
