The Alchemist Journal
A hand-bound journal in black leather, fronted with an aged alchemical plate and closed under an antique brass clasp.
The cover carries an ouroboros — the dragon devouring its own tail — coiled around a transmutation circle, pierced by a sword crowned with the all-seeing eye. A sun and a crescent moon watch from either corner, with the classical symbols for the four elements, sulphur and mercury set around the border. The plate is printed on aged parchment stock and inlaid into soft black leather.
Inside, thick handmade paper in warm parchment tone, torn to a deckled edge and stitched to the spine with exposed cord. Unlined, so it takes script, diagram, sketch or sigil equally well.
